Did you know that if you live in a condo, apartment, or townhouse in British Columbia, you may be eligible for up to $8,500 in rebates when you upgrade to an energy-efficient heat pump?

This is part of the Condo and Apartment Rebate Program, supported by BC Hydro and CleanBC, aimed at helping multi-unit building residents switch to greener, more efficient heating and cooling systems.

Why Switch to a Heat Pump?

Heat pumps don’t just provide cooling in the summer—they also offer efficient heating during winter, all from a single unit. They’re quieter, cleaner, and cheaper to operate over time. If your building currently uses electric baseboard heaters or other outdated systems, switching to a heat pump could significantly lower your energy bills.

Who’s Eligible?

To qualify for rebates, your condo or apartment unit must:

  • Be part of a strata or rental building in BC

  • Use electric baseboard heating

  • Upgrade to an eligible ductless mini-split heat pump system

Your building or strata may also be eligible for additional funding for upgrades to shared HVAC infrastructure.

How to Apply

The application process can be tricky, but that’s where we come in. At AireEnergy, we walk you through each step:

  1. Confirm eligibility

  2. Select a qualifying heat pump system

  3. Submit paperwork and apply for rebates

  4. Complete installation by certified technicians

  5. Enjoy year-round comfort and energy savings!

Don’t Miss Out

These rebates won’t last forever—and funding is limited. Now is the perfect time to make the switch to a modern, energy-efficient heat pump.
